Mike Petty

Enterprise Account Manager

Mike has been supporting customers in the IT industry for over 25 years and has spent the last 20 years in Information Security. During that time he has worked in both the Vendor and VAR space and is uniquely qualified to help customers manage the ever changing world of Information Security. He takes a no nonsense, no excuses approach to supporting his clients saying: “Little things matter. If customers can’t trust you to solve the small problems they will never trust you to tackle the large problems”.

Why Mike likes working for Cadre:

“I like working for Cadre for a number of reasons, but first of all because it’s like a family. Everyone supports one another and fosters mutual success. This translates to the way we treat our customers. Secondly, Cadre has people with unmatched knowledge and experience which means we can help customers solve business problems more quickly and with better results. Lastly, in a sea of IT security vendors we are selective in who we work with. As a result we are experts at evaluating solutions for different environments, and unlike competitors this allows Cadre to live up to the Value Added, in Value Added Reseller.”

Fun Fact about Mike:

Ever since he was a small child he has been fascinated with anything automotive. In his spare time he competes in AutoCross events in his 2006 MX5, and rides his motorcycle with friends.

Mike's Best Piece of Cyber Security Advice:

Find a partner that you trust. Someone that will provide guidance whether they stand to profit from it or not. If you have a partner like that, they are putting your interests first."
