User and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), or also known as an extension of User Behavior Analytics (UBA). It is a cyber security solution that is now a very important component of security. The solution establishes a baseline of normal user behaviors across hosts, applications, network traffic and data repositories. Once that baseline is established a UEBA solution will alert on anomalous behaviors or activity. The most common use cases sought by enterprises are detecting malicious insiders and external attackers infiltrating their organizations via compromised insiders.
