System Administrator - Internal Support

Role Summary

The System Administrator is responsible for providing technical support for corporate systems and infrastructure with specific knowledge around our virtual and cloud systems and environments. This position works as part of a team to fulfill all Internal Support needs and expected to exhibit flexibility to meet company demands.

Responsibilities

    • Maintain the VMWare hypervisor environment and support VMWare users.

    • Maintain and troubleshoot cloud-based systems for Accounting, Sales, Engineering, and all other departments.

    • Maintain and administer Active Directory.

    • Participate in providing all other Internal Support IT functions including but not limited to desktop support, server administration, email administration, database administration, backups, telephony, etc.

    • Other duties as assigned.

Post-probationary Expectations

    • Evaluate and respond to trouble tickets as they arise and responsibly escalate issues as needed.

    • Independently maintain ESXi hypervisor and supported virtual machines.

    • Provide leadership in supporting Dynamics 365, HubSpot and associated integrations and customizations.

    • Actively participate in seeking continuous service improvement especially as related to process.

    • Exhibit dedication to 100% customer satisfaction.

    • Work well alone and as part of a team as tasks demand.

Requirements

    • 2+ years industry experience.

    • Bachelor’s Degree or additional 4 years industry experience.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server, Linux, networking and network security, wireless, email, DNS, Office 365, SSL, SSH, backup administration.

    • Past experience working with VMWare.

    • Past experience administering Active Directory.

    • Excellent written and verbal skills with public speaking and presentation ability.

Preferences

    • Experience migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for CRM, Finance and/or Business Central.

    • Deep knowledge of Azure dashboard and controls.

    • MS-SQL server and database administration experience.

    • Experience with two or more product sets from our partner ecosystem (https://www.cadre.net/partners-technology).

    • ITIL certification.

    • Proven ability at training and or public speaking.

    • Experience managing IT projects.
